Storyline
When Leyla was 12 and sister Sevda six, their mother died from a rare genetic disorder. They went to live with their grandmother, Belkis, and between them, Leyla and Belka raised Sevda like a princess, never letting on that she was at risk from the same disease that killed her mother. Leyla emigrated to Canada but returns to Turkey for Sevda’s wedding to Volkan. The wedding day is a disaster; Volkan’s love for another is revealed and the event acts as a catalyst for opening old wounds, exposing secrets and complicating the intertwining lives of three families. It also sets Sevda and Leyla on the road to becoming enemies.
