Şevkat lives in and old neighborhood in İstanbul. He has an egg store in the market. There are colorful personalities in the neighborhood. They all do everything together for better and worse like in the old times. Mr. Cevdet owns the most of the houses and the stores in the neighborhood.
Cevdet is a rich antique dealer. Once he lived there with her late wife and her daughter Esin was born there. He buys estates to keep the neighborhood as it is. He doesn't call or visit his tenants and never raises the rent. He is a respected man in the neighborhood.
Cevdet's daughter Esin is an artist and a ceramic master. She comes back from Paris and decides to use the house she was born as a workshop and to open an art gallery in the market. Şevkat lives in the two story house. Esin settles in to the upper floor and opens the art gallery right across his egg shop. Esin's friends in the art world starts to come and go. People in the market starts to meet with people from a different culture. At the same time Esin's friends start to get used to the people there. In this process natural confusions happen, impossible things occur and surprise love stories begin. The life in the neighborhood gets more fun and cheerful.
