Where does the magical power come from in Santa’s land? Albert the elf believes that it comes from the love of people. And love comes from being grateful for gifts. So what’s the point of a middleman – Santa Claus? Why hide in an invisible sleigh? Isn’t it better to go to people and enjoy their love to the full?
This is what Albert thinks and he runs away from the land of Santa Claus. But it turns out that no one on Earth loves him, no one needs his magic or his presents. Albert grows weaker and weaker.
Fortunately, he meets 11-year-old David, who believes in the magic of Christmas. He himself searches in vain for it in a big city. David gives Albert his sincere love. He is ready to do anything for his friend.
In spite of that, Albert keeps losing his power. It seems that human love does not increase it. Where, then, does the power come from? If Albert and David can’t find the answer, the elf faces the worst.
