Set in the 1960s, The Miracle follows Mahir, a young and idealistic teacher assigned to a remote and impoverished village in Eastern Anatolia.
Upon arriving, Mahir is confronted by the extreme poverty, isolation, and neglect the villagers endure daily. Despite overwhelming obstacles, he remains determined to make a positive difference by educating the village children.
During his time there, he meets Aziz, a young man with a significant physical disability who has long been marginalized and dismissed by the villagers. Recognizing Aziz’s hidden potential, Mahir encourages him to learn and grow, planting seeds of hope where none existed before.
With Mahir’s support and his own unwavering determination, Aziz slowly begins to transform, discovering strengths he never knew he possessed. Mahir and Aziz’s perseverance sparks a small but profound miracle within the village, leading the community to confront and reconsider their prejudices.
