We go behind the scenes with Turkish Airlines for 24-hours during the peak summer season. There are 70,000 passengers to transport, logistical nightmares to overcome, illegal immigrants to be intercepted, planes to be fixed and airside arguments to resolve.

We follow the staff, both in the air and on the ground – the pilots, cooks, flight attendants, baggage handlers, loadmasters, visa checkers and flying chefs – as they face the challenges of keeping the busy airline running and ensuring all their passengers go away smiling.
